Avro Pacific commenced trading in November 1994 with the first of a series of computer and telecommunications products. The company grew quickly and became a privately owned Plc in September 1997. One of Avro Pacific's initial products, Fax Friend, helped to establish the company with major UK and Central European retail chains, distributors, mail order organisations and a number of major OEMs. Fax Friend was quickly followed by a series of innovative, sometimes unique, and always the most competitive products available including Scanafax, Phone Dock, modem adaptor kits, power adaptors, cables and accessories.
